Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. Patients who are diagnosed with MS may experience problems with vision, balance, muscle coordination, fatigue and cognition. Women are three times more likely to develop MS than men and it is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada.

While there is no cure for MS yet, your physiotherapist can help you maximize your movements and develop strategies to help you cope and address changes in symptoms.
